We Can Help
We provide quality mental health services for children ages 0-18 at school, in the home, and at our clinics. Telehealth services are available when clinically appropriate. To begin the process for your child, call (888) 526-2211. *If this is a life-threatening emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
Our Approach
We follow a three-step process to connect your child with a therapist based on your child’s individual needs.
We listen
When you call The Guidance Center for services, you’ll be connected with our Access Department. On the other side of the phone is a caring member of our team who is ready to listen to the concerns you have about your child’s behavior and emotional challenges.
To find the best therapeutic match for your child, they’ll ask questions like:
What is the main concern you’re having about your child?
How long has this been going on for?
How did you hear about us? (For example, did your child’s doctor suggest you call us?)
Before you get off the phone with our Access Department, your child will be scheduled for their first appointment.
We meet
At your child’s first appointment, you’ll both meet with a member of our staff who will walk you through the paperwork and complete the necessary forms to start treatment. Then, your child will meet with a therapist who is matched with your child based on their individual needs and will support them through treatment.
