The Guidance Center has been leading children and families to a brighter future since 1946, providing quality and comprehensive mental health care to over 3,000 children and families each year in the communities of Long Beach, Compton, San Pedro, and Avalon.
March 13, 2020 Dear Guidance Center Community, As many of you know, COVID-19 Coronavirus is increasingly impacting our cities and our nation as a whole. As an agency, we have always strived to be a safe place –this commitment continues today. To ensure we can keep our clients, their families and our staff happy and healthy, we will be providing clinical care remotely effective Monday, March 16. Additionally, business operations will also continue remotely.
Our offices will be closed from Monday, March 16th until further notice.
During this time, we will be closely monitoring the situation as it develops to ensure the well-being of our clients, their families, our staff, board members and supporters. We are also following all recommendations provided from the City of Long Beach, the County of Los Angeles and the State of California as well as the universal precautions established by the CDC as outlined on the CDC website.
